A Music Festival with a Purpose

Oakaloosa is the region’s first fully philanthropic music festival. A percentage of every dollar raised will be put towards the restoration of Historic Fort Wayne in order to help return the Fort to its previous glory and preserve it for future generations to admire and enjoy.

Oakaloosa is organized and supported by Detroit Sports Zone, Inc., a non-profit group committed to exposing people of all ages to sports, cultural arts, mentoring, life-skill development and character building activities.  Additional proceeds from the festival will be used to support the youth sports and mentoring programs provided through Detroit Sports Zone, Inc.

Hours

• Gates open at 11:30 AM
• Festival ends at midnight

Parking

• Secure lot parking available at Oakaloosa Park (enter from W. Jefferson) for $10
• Free street parking available
• Complimentary bike valet provided by Wheelhouse Detroit

Tickets

The box office is located in Oakaloosa Park, the primary parking facilities for the festival. To pick up tickets purchased online, use the will call windows. Ticket holders may proceed directly to the gate to receive their wristbands and for access into the festival, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Venue

Food vendors will be available in the Vendors area, as well as water stations, alcoholic (21 and up) and non-alcoholic beverages.

• Bicycles Inside Festival Grounds (Plenty Bike Racks are available near The Box Office)
• Carts, Tents & Chairs of Any Kind
• Studded Jewelry, Long Chain Wallets, Spurs of any kind
• Hard-Sided Coolers
• Pets (except Service Dogs)
• Laser Pointers
• Professional Recording (Photo, Video, Audio) Equipment (NO Detachable Zoom Lenses, Tripods or Other Commercial Equipment
• No Unauthorized/Unlicensed Vendors Allowed
• No Unauthorized Solicitations, Handbills, Sampling, Give-Aways, etc.
